Why should I play on this server?

• Because you love the original journey from 1 to 60, from pre-BiS to T3, but believe it could be improved.
• Because you want to experience a Vanilla WoW that focuses on balanced gameplay by:
  • Ensuring no faction has an inherent advantage.
  • Improving the viability of various classes, builds, and professions.
  • Increasing the availability of tanks and healers.
  • Keeping the lower levels active.

Why were some classes nerfed?

• Balancing classes—while preserving the core PvE and PvP experience—requires both buffs and nerfs.

Why were some spells removed?

• Spells may be removed for the following reasons:
  • Cross-faction balance concerns.
  • Duplication of item effects, which devalues those items.
  • Limited usefulness/niche applications.

Why do some classes have similar talents?

• We are still in Alpha: As we refine the experience, we hope to further increase the distinction between each class and specialization.
• However, as this server is primarily concerned with balance, uniqueness or ‘fluff’ will always be a secondary concern—so if a Talent works well, it, or a variation thereof, might be available in multiple talent trees.

Why were spell ranks removed?

• This was done so that spells better reflect the growth of the player’s power through leveling and acquiring better items. It also simplifies the leveling process and makes it easier to adjust spells where necessary.

Why do Druids now scale equal to Rogues?

• To simplify gear acquisition for Feral Druids.

Why can Enhancement Shamans wear Plate Armor?

• To address the scarcity of healers and tanks, gear acquisition for these roles has been simplified. Enhancement Shamans wear Plate to benefit from this change, encouraging them to tank.
• This change also benefits the gearing experience of DPS-focused Enhancement Shamans, as their scaling aligns better with existing Plate items than with existing Mail items.
• This does not have to be a permanent change. See the Future Possibilities section on Discord for the requirements to implement a mail tank gearing experience that is in line with that of the other tanking classes.
